Our friendly Jurassic Plastic toysaurus are now on loan to the City of Sydney and greeting visitors to the new Darling Square library.

Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore officially opened the library last Saturday 9 November and together with Councillors Philip Thalis and Jess Scully got cosy with Hiroshi Fuji’s dinosaurs.

Made as part of Jurassic Plastic for Sydney Festival 2018, the Toysaurus were created by the artist together with Sydney’s children and families.

Now on loan to the City of Sydney they will be popping up here and there to remind us of our complex relationship to plastic and get us thinking about mass-consumption in our children’s lives.
