ArtsPeople are working as the Australian Chamber Orchestra’s representatives in Japan for their upcoming concerts on the 29 May and 30 May 2018, at the prestigious Yomiuri Otemachi Hall. These concerts are showcase ‘opening events’ for the Australian Government’s Australia now program, celebrating and promoting the creativity, talent and diversity of Australian culture to Japanese audiences.

The program will highlight  what makes the ACO such an incredible driving force on the world stage. On 29 May the ACO brings their own blend of musical alchemy to Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, which will feature a selection of musical interludes created by Egyptian-Australian musicians Joseph and James Tawadros in collaboration with ACO Artistic Director Richard Tognetti. On the 30 May the program will feature the 17 core ACO players performing  Vasks’ Vox Amoris,Bartók’s Divertimento, Kilar’s Orawa and The Musical Offering (BWV 1079: Ricercar a 6) by JS Bach.
